There are several other popular Iowa gambling halls, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.
A smaller Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slots, and 14 table games. Another Iowa river based casino, The Isle of Capri, is available 24 hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slot machines, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot river based gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday blackjack events.
Iowa casinos present an exceptional amount of tax income to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the budgeting of many commonwealth wide activities. Vacationers have grown at a rapid rate along with the request for processors and an increase in employment.
